Liberty Square Library started as a dream and vision to make it as easy as possible for families living in Public Housing in Liberty City to have easy access to books. All you need to check out a book is to follow "the honor system." Over 2,000 books were donated by the cummunity, the city and local churches, who deeply care about the power of reading and help with the opening of this library. Liberty Square Library is the first one to open up in Public Housing. The library opens Mon-Fri 9:00 a.m. -7:00 p.m. and Saturday 10:00 a.m. - 2:00p.m.
